The scent of Wasabi and the sourness of Ume (Japanese plum) makes a superb combination!
Pork wrapped with fresh Wasabi
○Ingredients 【2 person】
Summer Wasabi (Fresh)…………… 50g
Pork slices for Shabu-Shabu…………… 10 slices
Umeboshi (dried Japanese plumb)…………… 2
Soy Sauce…………… 1 Table Spoon
Wasabi (Fresh) for garnish
○How to make
1 Take the skin off of the fresh Summer Wasabi, then cut it into thin strips. Keep a bit of summer wasabi aside for garnish. Smash the umeboshi after taking the seed out
2 Take the pork slice, spread them out , add the wasabi and umeboshi and wrap them into little packages.
3 Add oil into a frying pan. Put the pork slices in the pan with the part that overlaps on the bottom. After they are cooked through, poor the soy sauce on top of the pork slices.
4 Put the pork slices on a plate and garnish with grated summer wasabi to finish.
