実写版『Barbie（原題）』はバービーランドで暮らしていたバービーが「完璧な世界にふさわしくない」という理由で叩き出され、現実の世界で生き抜いていく、というストーリー。「美やフェミニズム、アイデンティティについて現代的な解釈を描く」作品になると雑誌『バラエティ』は報じている。人形のバービーの持つイメージとはまた違った映画になりそうだけれど、バービー役にエイミー・シューマーの名前が上がると早くも反対する声が！　中には「バービーを演じるには太りすぎ」という悪口めいたものも。

Very very honored to be nominated for 2 Grammys and to be considered to play an important and evolving icon. Is it fat shaming if you know you're not fat and have zero shame in your game?
